It’s hard to believe, but on the 24th of March 2026, I will be celebrating eighteen amazing years as a specialist commercial, PR, industrial and marketing photography business serving 100s of clients across the North East of England, Scotland, and on occasion, London for corporate photography commissions.
30 Years of Visual Storytelling for Corporate and Editorial Clients
My fascination with photography began really early on using the family Kodak 126 camera and which developed into a lifelong career behind the camera. I learned my trade more than 30 years ago when I was taken on as a trainee press photographer for national and regional newspapers in Scotland. Those formative years gave me invaluable experience and taught me to work quickly, creatively and under pressure. Every day is different, and over time I photographed everything from royal visits and celebrity events to sports fixtures, business features, and news stories for FTSE100 companies, public and private sector organisations, and local charities.
The media landscape has evolved dramatically since those early days. Traditional print publications have seen readerships decline while online platforms and digital media continue to expand. Today, most people consume their news online, and while many outlets now encourage users to submit their own images, there remains a strong demand for the kind of distinctive, professional photography that captures attention — something I consistently deliver.
